Fucking confusion
Rot in my brain
Ripping out my hair
I'm going insane.
Too many questions;
No answers found
Eyes stitched closed
Hands tightly bound
Mouth filled with maggots
Naked and cold
Laughing and crying
With no one to hold.
Psychopathic insomnia
To which there is no end;
Wounds that will not heal
No god to make amends.
Scratching at my legs;
Body covered in disease
Nails shattered and broken
Head covered by fleas.
Screams that are silent
A voice that is sore,
Fallen to the shadows
I am ever more.

I have no fear; I am not brave,
just confident I'm no one's slave:
carefree and cheerful while I fall,
my spirit refusing to be small.
Reflections tried to hold my breath,
as I was falling to my death,
veracity shattered that sight instead:
certain that I'd leave nothing unsaid.
So clutching trinkets that gild my neck
I dream up this pose, just for the trek
down through obscurity, into the mire
of love and passion, as radiant as fire.
